I’m flattered. Someone submitted Mombian for a GLAAD Media Award, and it’s been nominated. I won the Award for “Outstanding Blog” in 2012 (sharing the honor with Towleroad), and didn’t expect to be nominated again.
The other nominees for “Outstanding Blog” this year are Holy Bullies and Headless Monsters, I’m Still Josh, My Fabulous Disease, and Transgriot. Great company to keep!
Go check out the nominees in all of the other categories as well. They range from LGBTQ-specific outlets and pieces to shows, segments, music, and articles from mainstream media channels that don’t always include LGBTQ content. I love to see them all. Representation does matter, now more than ever.
