Last week, I published a list of my favorite books of 2016 for and about LGBTQ families—but if you still need gift ideas, including music albums, games, and books, here are a few more.

  • The new matching card game “Family Pride” is great for young children and depicts many kinds of families.
  • The Mombian Shop has even more book and media suggestions for young children, older children, and even us parents.
  • And don’t forget that a donation to a favorite charity or cause may be a great gift, too, for kids as well as adults (especially if the organization has a newsletter that helps your kid(s) feel like they’re seeing how their gift helps over the course of the year).

Beyond physical presents, however, make sure to give your family and friends what matters most: your time, attention, and love.
