In celebration of Blogging for LGBTQ Families Day’s 10th year, I have a number of exciting giveaway items for randomly selected participants!
Giveaway items will include:
- A copy of the new, revised, 25th anniversary edition of Heather Has Two Mommies, autographed by author Lesléa Newman;
- A $150 Residence Inn gift card courtesy of Residence Inn by Marriott;
- Five copies (one to each of five participants) of the toe-tapping new children’s CD Dancin’ In The Kitchen: Songs For All Families, by Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, courtesy of the HRC Foundation’s Children, Youth & Families Program and Welcoming Schools project;
- Another great new kids’ CD, this one about gender diversity: Rainbow Train, by Chana Rothman, courtesy of the artist and her publicist;
- The new, 2nd edition of The Fenway Guide to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health, courtesy of Fenway Health;
- Five sticker and magnet sets (one to each of five participants) from GLAAD’s “Got Your Back” campaign, which encourages LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ folks to stand up as allies for those with identities different than their own.
To enter the giveaway drawing: Submit your post to Blogging for LGBTQ Families Day and leave an e-mail address (not to be shared or sold) or make sure I can contact you through your blog if you want a chance to be selected.
U.S. and Canada residents only for the giveaways, although anyone can participant in the blogging event. If you are participating as a representative of an organization that’s been working with me to promote the event, you’re not eligible for the giveaways, although you have my sincere gratitude. If you’re submitting on behalf of someone else and are picked for a giveaway, the author of the post gets it. One giveaway item per person.
I will take posts through 11:59 p.m. ET on June 2, 2015, and do the drawing on June 5, 2015, going down the list of items and randomly picking one participant per giveaway item. Each participant gets one entry, regardless of the number of posts submitted. I will then contact the winners. You must reply to me with a postal address by 11:59 p.m. ET on June 11, 2015, or I will draw another winner. I will then share your postal address with the provider of the giveaway for the sole purpose of sending you the item. I will insist that they do not put you on any mailing list (unless you’re already on their list independent of this giveaway). No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
