Two more stars of the entertainment industry can now (or soon) be counted among those of us women parenting with another woman.
Actor Zoie Palmer, star of Lost Girl on Canada’s Showcase network, came out at the 2014Â Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday, thanking “my incredible partner, Alex, and my beautiful son Luca.” AfterEllen reports that she’s referring to TV and film producer Alex Lalonde, who had Luca in a previous relationship. In another variation of how we create our families, singer Brandi Carlile announced that she and her partner Catherine are expecting a child in June. I’d love to listen to the lullabies in their house!
