A breaking TV alert:Â Al Jazeera America will be doing a segment tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on LGBT families and adoption. One of their three guests is affiliated with the anti-LGBT National Organization for Marriage. The Family Equality Council, the national organization supporting LGBT families, is asking people to offer their perspectives through the online video comments and Twitter conversation about the show.
Robert Oscar López is a professor at California State University Northridge. GLAAD has compiled a page of some of the vile and unfounded things he’s said about LGBT parents.
The other two guests on the show are David Brodzinsky, Research and Project Director at the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, and a known supporter of LGBT parents, and Annamarya Scaccia, who writes for RH Reality Check and a number of other progressive media outlets.
