Today marks the first-ever International Family Equality Day, an event created by the Family Equality Council “to bring together LGBT families of all kinds to celebrate their family pride and ongoing efforts for full family equality.”
The organization will be holding events in New York, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and Dover, New Hampshire, as well as Canada, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, South Africa, and beyond.
Details are at their Web site, so join the celebration! (Don’t forget to celebrate here in the blogosphere on June 1, too, when I will be hosting the 7th Annual Blogging for LGBT Families Day! More reasons to party!)
