Thanks, Leyla. I interviewed Jen Rainin last fall, as it happens. I left her off the "Most Powerful" list this year only because Sweet has not yet had its first cruise, and thus its impact is still to be seen--but you're right, Jen's work with the Foundation is worthy in itself.

I’d love to add Jen Rainin to this list. She’s a founding partner of Sweet, the new lesbian travel company with a twist. She is also at the helm of The Kenneth Rainin Foundation, a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting the arts, education and medical research. Additionally, Jen is a generous supporter of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, Human Rights Campaign and Equality California. A mother of two adorable boys, Jen is also a working actress who is currently completing an intense year of Meisner training.
