I enjoyed this article very much - we're Canadian too and many of our answers would mirror yours.

We have a 6 year old daughter conceived via AI and a 4 year old that came to us via adoption. I particularly liked your son's response regarding the "two moms" issue. The other day our six-year-old's after-school program supervisor told us that she overheard our daughter having the "two moms" debate with two older girls who were insisting that she couldn't have two moms and that she had to have a "dad". My daughter apparently responded "yes, I do have two moms and I was born because my mom took special medicine, plus she has lots of money". The supervisor said that she didn't feel it necessary for her to step in and become involved because my daughter was very sure and very confident (although perhaps not 100% accurately informed) and that the other girls seemed to be satisfied with that answer too. We all had a good chuckle.
