Thanks, Polly, for the endorsement, although my wife would argue the only thing I am a "major" of is a pain in the arse.

You're diplomatic, but I don't have to be: several other "Large" blogs are fairly onerous (i.e., snark- and cant-filled) right wing "news analysis" blogs. People can view the other nominees and decide for themselves, but clearly Mombian will be getting my vote, early and often (okay, once per day; whatever).

The LGBT Blogs category is full of wonderful sources of news, analysis, entertainment, and intrigue. I'll withhold a plug but may be tempted to vote for several different blogs, rotating through the choices over the days.

But I WILL say that Looky, Daddy! is a major queer ally. Major. He has written many moving posts about gay marriage, and worked to try to raise money for the Prop 8 fight with an inventive shared post. So I urge Mombian readers to (a) check him out, and then (b) vote for him early and often. His is the parenting blog I'd love to see get the visibility from the win. (Parenting blogs vote here.)

Good luck!
