Best wishes to two of the world’s most famous lesbian moms, Melissa and Tammy Etheridge, who have revealed they will legally wed. As Tammy noted on her blog, however, the couple were wed (without the legal approval) on September 20, 2003. “darlin’, i AM married,” she writes. “now, do you mean, do i want to go get that gay certificate that gives us a percentage off of our taxes? HELL YES, i want that coupon!!! i love coupons! I CLIP FOR SAVINGS!!!!”

Not to mention that Tammy has changed her last name to Etheridge. Maybe MSNBC’s resident lesbian, Rachel Maddow, can set them not-so-straight.
