Another DVD Giveaway: BuddyG: My Two Moms and Me

buddyg.jpgWin a copy of BuddyG: My Two Moms and Me, the first fully animated show featuring a child of LGBT parents! Margaux Towne-Colley and Donna Colley, the women behind BuddyG, have offered a free copy to a Mombian reader.

Let’s keep things interesting, though: The DVD will go to the first person who leaves a comment with the correct answers to all of the following three questions. Please note rules and restrictions below.

  1. BuddyG’s home is in Nebraska. What nationally (U.S.) famous father of a nationally famous lesbian mom was born in Lincoln, Nebraska?
  2. BuddyG’s best friend, Owen, is an Elvis fan. What actress, now playing a lesbian and a mother on television, once dated The King?
  3. What lesbian mom, who has been on Forbes’ list of “100 Most Powerful Women,” was once fired from a senior executive position at a major corporation while still in the hospital after her partner had given birth?

You can read more about BuddyG in this post or view a clip of the theme song here.

Rules and restrictions: U.S. and Canada residents only, please. (The DVD is in Region 1 format, and will likely not play in other countries. Postal costs also make it prohibitive to ship elsewhere.) Don’t worry if your comment is moderated; once I approve it, it will appear based on the time you submitted it. I retain the right to cancel the giveaway if there are any nasty debates about who has the correct answers. If you are or have been a paying advertiser on Mombian, you can’t play. If no one gets the right answers by 11:59 p.m. EST, January 21, 2008, I’ll post an alternate set of questions.

Make sure to leave a valid e-mail address with your comment! (Don’t leave a postal address, though. If you win, I’ll contact you by e-mail about shipping.)

  1. Ooh, I’m going to have to make the questions harder next time. Gus and Clay have a copy of BuddyG headed their way.

Stay tuned till next week for a chance to win a DVD of Dottie’s Magic Pockets, the first live-action show for children of LGBT families (and their friends)!
