These boxes are very problematic.

Here in Syracuse, NY, there was a recent incident with the police insensitivity due to the boxes.

Some friends of ours-a two dad family- went to a police sponsored child fingerprinting, picturing for safety, etc. The police involved were very insensitive to the needs of the family involved and even made disparaging comments. This event was at the annual picnic of one of the dads. They are suing the police dept. The police involved are supposedly suspended pending "sensitivity training"- which will basically just piss them off against gays more. And the form hasn't changed.
