This was an interesting post, and something my girlfriend and I have discussed often as we contemplate starting a family. At this point, we're leaning towards adoption, going with a donor who is a friend, or a donor who will be revealed when the kid turns 18. We would prefer to give the kid some idea of his or her biological family history, if we can. I would be curious to know how other 2 mommy households address this issue. I'm sure that it varies from family to family.
