“All Aboard: Rosie’s Family Cruise” Documentary

All Aboard: Rosie's Family CruiseRosie O’Donnell and her partner Kelli Carpenter O’Donnell are premiering their documentary, “All Aboard: Rosie’s Family Cruise,” on April 6. The program, which will air on HBO, looks at the first cruise of the couple’s travel venture, R Family Vacations. (Full credit: The couple founded the company with friend Gregg Kaminsky.) The New York Times yesterday ran an article about the show. (Free registration required.)

Is it just me, or do the R Family Vacations and Olivia Travel Web sites look strangely similar? Maybe it’s just the light green and light blue palettes. As a marketer, I’d recommend that one or both of them change things a bit to establish differentiated identities (or merge and form a new company named “Rosie O’livia”).
